In the playground industry more than 80% of carbon emission comes from the raw materials, so we have chosen to be proactive and worked with our partners to find more sustainable materials options for our paly equipment to help make us achieve lowest carbon footprint of any play Company in the UK.
Example of our sustainable materials include:
- Recycled posts created from composite - an innovative material made of used clothes and foil
- Roofs, side panels and manual elements are cut from HDPE plates, which are manufactured from ocean waste - fishing ropes and nets.
- We have replaced ordinary plastic with raw material made from used ropes and fishing nets.
Both construction poles and elements made of HDPE eco-panels are characterized by high resistance to changing weather conditions, thanks to which they are very durable and safe to use. Recycled series are TÜV certified.
